Champions are the ultimate ally for any organisation. Engaged, supportive, clear on the details, they’re everything you need to help you succeed.
You will have heard the term before – they’re usually a group of people who leading any change, volunteering, recording and flagging any issues, all done to help the organisation succeed.
When it comes to managing change, you can actively engage Champions in your plans, take their feedback to shape and customise them for maximum effectiveness. They can also become the face of change in their function, helping to manage any post-deployment problems that may arise.
Work closely with your Champions. You will most likely know some if not all of them already, so get them close, give them the tools to succeed and maintain your view of the programme as a whole.
